Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone.  We are sooooo thankful for all of you and the support you have given us by being interested in our adoption of Abrham.  You know who you are...whether you have given us encouraging words, showed us what you know because you've done it, listened to us when we needed it during the long process, notarized documents for us, talked us through it, donated money, given clothing or toys to Abrham, came to his adoption party, organized the party, been at work with us to support us through the ups and downs this last year, called us, texted us, asked us questions, prayed for us, prayed for Abrham, read our blog...whatever you have done, we are talking to YOU.  We couldn't do this without you!

Here's the latest update...

We are leaving next week for Ethiopia.  We will arrive there on Saturday and will stay for a week.  While we are there, our adoption agency will provide us with an Ethiopian guide to help us out.  He will meet us at the airport and be with us all the way thru.  We will be there a couple of days before we meet Abrham due to the only flight that we were able to get.  They will set us up with some sightseeing, which will be cool.  It will be so awesome to see where our little boy came from.  We will meet him on Monday, have a few hours to play with him and talk to the transition home doctors and caretakers, and then we go back to the guest house we will be staying at.  The next day we go and get him for good...permanent, always, forever!!!  He will stay with us at the guest house for the rest of the week.  The guide has some things planned for us and the other three families that will be traveling with us for the next few days.  Then at the end of the week we fly home!  It will be so exciting.  Pray for our safe travels and for Abrham's heart as he adjusts to us and his new surroundings.

Stay tuned next week.  We will be trying to post messages and pictures from Ethiopia.  We'll see how that goes.  If we can't, check back with us some time around December 14th, as we will be home and rested by then, and able to post some pictures!
